Pat Lohrenz
Pat Lohrenz is a multi-media visual artist living and painting in Nova Scotia. Teaching experience includes experimental painting techniques and mixed media workshops to create texture and movement. “I loosely consider myself an interpretive landscape artist. Themes that interest me include views of land and water, marshes, shorelines, rocks, skies, and trees. Weather and atmospheric conditions influence how I interpret the effects of wind, rain, fog, and light on the landscapes. Techniques include using pouring, scraping, collage, inks and fluid acrylics. Memory, imagination and intuition shape the creative process but the finished pieces speak for themselves.” Represented by galleries in Annapolis Royal and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Works in private collections in Canada, US and Europe.
