Violet Rosengarten "Some Enchanting Islands"

Join us in welcoming Violet Rosengarten at Round Hill Studio in August! Her exhibit will feature paintings that she has created en Plein Air of Islands which she calls “Magical places” .

Violet spent spent most of her childhood and teen Summers on an island on the Big Rideau Lake in Ontario. “I felt intimately connected to the water, the lake, and the wildness of nature on the island and where I had my happiest family experiences”.

Violet’s exhibit will be in the gallery from September 1 - 29 and the reception will be Sat. Sept. 1, from 7 to 9 PM.

And that’s NOT ALL! Violet will be providing an artist talk, Sunday September 2 at 2 PM at Round Hill Studio where she will open discussions about what draws us to islands; plus, talk about her background in textile art, plein air art and much more!
