Farewell 2019

We have had quite a year at Round Hill Studio!

Looking back over the last year, 2019 was one for the history books. Let's take a moment and look back....

In 2019, Round Hill Studio had the privilege of representing over 30 artists, hosting 15 exhibits and several art demonstrations and greeting thousands of visitors from near and far.

Back in the Spring of 2019, Round Hill Studio Director and Founder, Jaime Lee Lightle was nominated for Amplify East : a project that amplify the voices of the inspiring women in Atlantic Canada. And that was just the beginning!

Round Hill Studio's celebrated its 3rd birthday; and introduced Annapolis Royal to art by First Responders by the way of the Steel Spirit.

What's even more exciting? Round Hill Studio is now an award winning gallery having acclaimed The Annapolis Board of Trade’s prestigious “Excellence in Business Award”.

All these positive accomplishments however were shadowed by a huge loss: the passing of Debbie Doiron, Nova Scotia Fibre Artist and mom to Founder Jaime Lee Lightle. The outpouring of love and support by the community of Annapolis Royal and the artist community beyond has been immense.

We have some exciting and stimulating programs and exhibits schedule for 2020. And what’s even more exciting, is that we will be welcoming Gallery Assistant Linda Hulme-Leahy on a year-round basis!

Linda has a flare for making the Gallery look and feel welcoming and she is not afraid to explore new ideas that will keep our art loving audience stimulated.

Looking back over this past year - we realize we are in need of a well deserved break.Round Hill Studio will be closed from December 22nd through January 6th. We will resume regular hours (Tues-Sat, 12PM-5PM) on Tuesday January 7th.
