Pat Lohrenz:"Fundy Shores"

As the winds of Fall blow the leaves from the trees, November arrives like a prologue to Winter. Artist, Pat Lohrenz is influenced by the changes of the seasons and we cannot be excited enough for her upcoming exhibit starting in mid-November.

Pat Lohrenz is a multi-media visual artist living and painting in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. She is bringing “Fundy Shores” to Round Hill Studio. This show represents a years worth of work combining collage with fluid acrylics to capture the moods and seasons of the Fundy shorelines.

Lohrenz: ‘The weather and changing seasons influence how I interpret the effects of water, waves, fog, and light in the landscapes. I paint lonely places without people or human structures. Techniques include pouring, layering, and collage using fluid acrylics and mediums. Memory, imagination and intuition shape the creative process but the finished pieces speak for themselves’.
