We woke up in Tony and Roxanne’s driveway. It was the first time we had slept in Pembroke in over five years.

We left the Comfort Inn off Hwy 201 in Port Hope and headed back to the Ottawa River Valley. Our destination: Pembroke Ontario.

It was a beautiful, sunny day to drive from Samuel Champlain Provincial Park to Port Hope through Dorset, Lindsay, Bailieboro, and Welcome.
