There was a lot of focus and hard work going on at ArtsPlace on Saturday April 8th when 12 community members ranging from artists, custodians, musicians, teachers and students created their Expressive Self Portrait for a community art project that focuses on the therapeutic value of art.
Feeling of self doubt were washed away as each participant delved into their creative side to produce something both personal and expressive.
See the results of all their hard work in an exhibit called "Our Community" in May at Round Hill Studio’s new location, 280 St-George Street, Annapolis Royal. Meet the community members who contributed to this exhibit at the opening reception May 1, from 7-9 PM.
