"This is a collection of work that helped me get familiar with the bold, beauty that is intrinsic to oil paints.
I am predominately an acrylic painter, so this medium challenged me in the most fundamental ways so I used brushes, palette knives and even my fingers to get the bold and bright hues, trying to avoid muddiness at all costs!
The subject is also a passion of mine - the dramatic skies over the Bay of Fundy and the Annapolis Basin! "
