In May we are again welcoming Stéphane Richard, a New Brunswick born artist who now lives in Kentville Nova Scotia. Stéphane is presenting a body of work inspired by the ocean and shores of Nova Scotia. Visually stirring him emotionally, Stéphane captures the deep ranges of light and dark in this series of acrylic paintings.
“I grew up in eastern New Brunswick, in the country side but also close to the ocean. In my early days of painting I would work on landscapes and seascapes. I worked in different styles throughout the years. I am now returning to my roots, by being influenced by nature, in the Annapolis Valley.”
Stéphane’s exhibit, titled "Sky & Sea" starts on May3rd and you can meet him and mingle and snack from 6-8 PM.
