Using the softness of pastels, charcoal and oil, EWL (Emma Windsor-Liscombe) depicts the un-beautiful in the most beautiful ways. Pests, children in nature and dead Bees is what you will see, illustrated on fine Chinese scrolls, some as large as 3 feet high!
EWL s a self-named Modern Traditionalist artist, seeking to re-think ancient themes in art while also establishing a place for contemporary subject matter in combination with personal line. Her exhibit, titled "Paper Nature" will be featured for the month of June at Round Hill Studio.
